Welcome as PCB Layout Engineer
at AEconversion
As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will work on innovative development projects in power electronics with us, for example in the area of energy management in households (combining energy generation through photovoltaics, energy storage in a battery, and the integration of electric vehicles through bidirectional charging). In other projects, we push forward industrial power supplies and battery chargers with you, also in the context of industrial direct current networks (DC-Grid).
As part of our development, you can rely on a strong team spirit, technical expertise, and the working culture of a start-up with a solid market position. From day one, you will take on responsibility, but you will never be left alone. Through the breadth of tasks, you and us continuously develop further.
Tasks of a PCB layouter:
-
Design of Printed Circuit Board Layouts: You create the layout of the printed circuit board using Cadstar.
-
EMC-Compliant Design: You ensure that the printed circuit board meets the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility to minimize unwanted emissions and interference.
-
Collaboration with Other Departments: As a PCB Layout Engineer, you work closely with circuit and mechanical development to find the best solution for integration into the overall device.
- Continuous Training: Since PCB technologies and design methods are constantly evolving, it's important for you to stay up-to-date through regular training and keeping track of industry trends.
- Design Review and Troubleshooting: Before releasing the layout, you conduct thorough reviews, including tool-assisted ones, to identify and fix errors.
- Process Optimization: As a PCB Layout Engineer, you continuously work on improving design processes, methods, and tools. This ongoing development makes PCB development more efficient, cost-effective, and faster.
-
Quality Control: You monitor the quality of the manufactured printed circuit boards and assist in fault analysis and troubleshooting production problems.
- Creating Manufacturing Documents: You create detailed documentation for printed circuit board production and the assembly of flat assemblies.
